A vintage lens the FUJINON EBC 28mm/F3.5
This is one of the first images I took with my new (used) Fujifilm X-T3 and a vintage lens. In this case the FUJINON EBC 28mm/F3.5. It is a classic wide angle lens from the late 70s and early 80s. So about 40 years old. Mine is in reasonably good condition but I fear I have to clean and relubricate the aperture control soon. The lens itself is pretty sharp in the center but soft on the edges. But I am using it on an APS-C sensor so I only record the center part equivalent to a 42mm lens, which is a wonderful focal length for me.
Don’t be afraid of the outdoors
I took this image in a park nearby on a sunny winter day. Usually the place would be full of visitors and due to the sun many people would take a seat here and have a snack or hot beverage. But instead I found these leaves nobody cared to brush away because nobody wanted to sit and enjoy the place. One can really feel that parts of the population is now in fear of catching the virus outdoors. I am not afraid to go out and pass other people on the streets or in the parks. Life is too short for this kind of fear.
